But that is taking things from a Christian perspective. The way that the Muslims believe, according to their faith, they will go to heaven through that faith's requirements. What if you don't believe that the bible is true? Your post was a comparative post on whether Allah is the same god as Yaweh, not whether a person will go to heaven b.c of this or that. That's what MountainWahoo was trying to get to, at least that's what I think.

Why do you refer to God as Yahweh? Just curious - not being critical, judgmental, etc.

Exactly that was what I was getting at.

All three major religions believe in the same "God", it's just that there were massive schisms as to the role of Christ, the son of God and part of the Trinity, and other prophets.

My point is that, no duh, it is the Christian belief that Jesus is the only way to God. No duh the other 2 do not believe that.

But they in terms of pure identity, tracing back to common idealisms, we believe in the same God. Of course it is the Christian belief that those other 2 groups are in trouble if they don't accept Jesus Christ. Any Christian who's attended Church, read the Bible knows this as like second hand nature.

Your question has no other purpose but to alienate others and make your supreme. I do not know how you cannot see that.

Jews and Muslims could easily ask rhetorical questions as to their own beliefs, e.g. "given that Christians do not belief "x............", then they cannot go to Heaven".

There's enough of that in the world. Stop, it does no one any good. Unless you plan to go out and evangelize and seek to spread the word of God with love as opposed to speaking from a pedestal using elementary logical progressions to prove a point, STOP.

Granted like you said you are hard-headed, you believe in the holy Trinity whole heartedly fine. I believe the muslim God is not the same also. I believe Muhammed made up his religion based on himself (making him the God) and used the Christian God as a way to talk to people and way to convert them.

If I was to say the cow in the pasture is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, does that make it true? No it make's it a false God.

I challenge you to ask the questions for them then. Salvation is not dependant on believing in God the Father but in Jesus Christ his son...Furthermore just believing will not get any of us there. The Bible teaches in the book of James that even the Devil and his demons believe but there is no salvation for them... so believing is not enough. I am not attempting to alienate anyone... I am just speaking the truth straight from what the BIBLE teaches. Soeey if that offends you or anyone else ... take it up with God not me... I did not write it. There is hope for all people including them.... but they must accept the truth... if they do not it is our job as Christians to spread the truth... would you not agree? Look for the word Allah in the Bible.... I bet you cannot find it in the old or New testament because it is not there...... no in the Hebrew or the Greek text.
